Ryan's 3rd Birthday!

On March 19th our little Ryan turned 3. He's still a bundle of energy who loves his sports. If he's not swinging a bat he's bouncing a ball.

We had so much fun taking the boys to MOA. We spent hours going on rides and then took a break to have supper at the Rainforest Cafe. My sister Heather and her family met us there for a night of fun.

Congratulations Senator Roby Smith

On Monday January 10th, my brother in-law Roby was sworn in as Senator of Iowa's 41st district. The family and I traveled to Des Moines to help him celebrate. We really enjoyed our tour of the capital and we were given a private tour of the dome at the top of the capital, which involved signing your life away just in case you couldn't make it back down :)
