Fun at the fair

Last weekend we went to the Rice County Fair. We had a good time seeing all the animals, rides, fair exhibits, and of course eating some yummy fair food.

WI DELLS

We spent a wonderful long weekend at the Wilderness Resort in WI Dells. Big Grandma, Grandpa G, and Auntie Kari came with us for a weekend of fun. We had such a great time...can't wait to do it again :)

Carson needed little medical attention while there (needed a band-aid) He fell and scratched up his knee. After an hour or so, he was back to playing again.

4th of July

The 4th of July was a very busy day for us. We started the day with church, we walked in a parade, then we headed back home for lunch and to celebrate Adam's 1st Birthday, after a family nap we ate pizza and then went to watch the fireworks.

My brother in-law is running for Iowa State Senate and he and a group of volunteers walked the parade and handed out candy. Is was fun, yet a little exhausting. Both Ryan and Carson fell asleep during the parade. Kari pushing Adam and Carson (both fast asleep)...notice in the backround Chad holding Ryan who is also sleeping.Adam turned 1 on the 4th. Yummy!
