Children's Museum Day!

We have been saying all winter we were going to make it to the Children's Museum. Well, we took the day off today and headed up for a day of fun. The current special exhibit was "Dinosaurs: Land of Fire and Ice". Carson really liked this dinosaur...it moved its head and blinked its eyes.Ryan and Dad looking for dinosaur bones. The boys sitting on one of the dinosaurs.Looking at the fish. The Larson's joined us :)GraceDave and EliRyan watching the balls go through the tubes.Grace, Carson and Ryan playing with all the balls in the water.Carson all dressed up as a construction worker.Carson and Ryan playing with the rubber frogs and crabs in the water.Even my sister and I got in on a little fun :)

The kids playing with some oats, boats, and goats. This room at the museum was all about rhyming. Another table had rice, mice, and dice.

We spent five hours at the museum, and as you can tell by the pictures, the kids loved every moment :)

Little Firefighters

The other night Dad got a fire call while grilling. The boys took over the fire in the grill. They were right there with their fire hoses just in case Mom couldn't handle it :)
The boys did get a little concerned when smoke came out of the grill though.

Last weekend my sister Kari and her three kids came to visit from Iowa. On Sat. we headed up to Waconia to spend the day with my sister Heather and her family. While there we got to see the Easter Bunny and go on an Easter egg hunt.
